When fashion marries industrial design

What happens when you give chisel and hammer to a fashion designer?

It is interesting to see how innovation can happen simply by changing the interpreter. I led seminars at two fashion schools – Institute Calligari, Mumbai & NIFT Hyderabad where I had this unique opportunity to lead cross-pollination of medium & the interpreter.  Corian® is an excellent medium that has fluidity, morphability, translucency, colors, patterns, textures, and form which can mimic fabrics. Soft surface patterns of interior furnishings can translate into hard surfaces and create a space that Frank Lloyd Wright describes as “frozen music”.
